Activities and responsibilities
We expect the following activities at the intersection of Business and IT, with Technology Business Management (TBM) as the main theme from you:
- Performing analyses on a customer’s IT-Finance environment, advising on improvement opportunities;
- Drawing up and independently implementing project plans in the field of TBM services;
- Preparing and conducting customer workshops;
- Giving presentations to a client’s senior management;
- Data analysis and solution design;
- Substantive support of the sales process.
In this position you will be responsible for providing insights to clients. To do so, you will first meet with our clients to uncover their business needs and challenges. Then, you will use your strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses. From these analyses, you will form and present your recommendations to our clients.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills;
- Strong presentation and communication skills;
- Demonstrable skills in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint;
Job requirements
For a (Senior) Business Consultant:
- Educated at HBO or university level or equivalent;
- A completed financial, economic, business or computer science education;
- Experience with large and complex environments in industries such as Financial Services, Government (central and local) and Business Services;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
- Several years of project and/or line management experience;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of IT Financial Management, including defining IT Services, and with processes such as budgeting, costing, charging and IT reporting KPIs. In addition, knowledge of management processes and tools;
- Experience with Apptio, BI tools or similar solutions is a plus.
