Sales Director – Technology Value Management & FinOps

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Director to accelerate growth across the UK and Ireland. This is a growth-focused role with a strong emphasis on new business development, supported by expansion within existing clients and partner-led opportunities. The successful candidate will engage senior technology and finance leaders and help organizations unlock greater value from their technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth across enterprise accounts
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, thought leadership, and partner collaboration
  • Develop and grow existing client relationships, identifying expansion opportunities and acting as a trusted strategic advisor
  • Sell advisory-led engagements, assessments, consulting services, implementation programmes, and managed service offerings
  • Engage CIOs, CFOs, CTOs and senior business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and business challenges
  • Lead complex consultative sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close
  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to shape compelling client solutions and proposals
  • Develop partner-led opportunities and strengthen strategic alliances
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and sales reporting
  • Represent It’s Value at industry events, executive briefings and customer workshops

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in enterprise technology consulting, professional services, or SaaS sales
  • Experience selling technology value management, cloud cost management, FinOps, TBM, ITFM, SPM, or enterprise transformation solutions
  • Experience selling advisory, consulting, assessment, implementation, or managed service engagements
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology operating models and technology financial management
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Ability to communicate business value to technical, operational, and financial audiences
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mentality with an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach

Preferred Experience

  • Existing network within enterprise IT, Finance, or Transformation organisations
  • Familiarity with TBM and FinOps frameworks
  • Experience working with enterprise and global clients
  • Background in management consulting, enterprise software, or strategic advisory services
