In oktober 2024 positioneerde Gartner IBM als leider in zijn Magic Quadrant voor Cloud Financial Management Tools, een erkenning die het vermogen van het bedrijf benadrukt om geavanceerde oplossingen te integreren in de belangrijkste cloudplatforms. Dit volgt op IBM's overname van Apptio en Turbonomic, twee belangrijke stappen die de CFM-mogelijkheden hebben versterkt en het bedrijf hebben gepositioneerd als een topspeler in deze snel evoluerende markt.<\/p>\n<p>Gartner's erkenning voor IBM komt voort uit het uitgebreide CFM-aanbod, dat zich uitstrekt over meerdere cloudplatformen, waaronder AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform en Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Het Cloudability-product van het bedrijf, dat nu deel uitmaakt van de bredere IBM FinOps-suite, stelt organisaties in staat om uitgaven in de cloud nauwkeurig te beheren en te optimaliseren. IBM Cloudability onderscheidt zich door zijn vermogen om bruikbare aanbevelingen te doen met betrekking tot zowel uitgaven als resource commitments, waardoor bedrijven de tools in handen krijgen om hun cloudbudgetten effectiever te voorspellen en te beheren.
